I also really hate the allegedly HD models everyone seems to adore, they look horrid to me and I much preferred and used MAO.Ī lot of the mods everyone claims are the best I wound up hating. I would have liked to use Provak's mod for a base since I'm all about gun porn, but his mod is a gigantic janky kludge and I have higher standards than he or his fans do, although I respect him for the tedium of having to port over every weapon from other mods even if they are messed up.
Numerous restarts were involved when I felt the game was still progressing too quickly, there's no way in hell I should be a master stalker after 2 days game time. After about a month's worth of going through mods, merging them, and then personally tweaking them I finally managed to get an enjoyable playthrough of Anomaly done and did the story mode (I forgot how bad it was).
